How to use serum in your skincare routine

We recommend applying serum 2 times a day – before your day and/or night cream. This will allow the product to penetrate the skin and work actively to reduce signs of aging.

Apply Pre-aging Serum before face cream, but after facial cleansing with face wash and skin tonic. Massage a few drops of serum into cleansed skin on face and neck.

Finish your skin care routine applying a protective layer of face cream to lock moisture and the active ingredients in the skin.

A few times a week, we recommend peeling your skin using an exfoliating serum. You might also benefit from deep cleansing your skin with a face mask 1-2 times a week.

Our products are dermatologically tested and suitable for all skin types. Pre-aging Serum is classified skin friendly.

We recommend doing a patch test before use of new products. Apply a small amount of product on a small skin area (e.g., on your forearm) and leave on for 24 hours to test for any skin reactions. Keep the skin area dry throughout the 24 hours. If skin irritation develops, rinse product off immediately and discontinue use.

Remember that it takes time for the skin to adjust to new products. Expect to use the product for a minimum of 4-5 weeks before results start to show.

Can I use other products in combination with the serum?

Yes, you can. We recommend daily cleansing and moisturizing using the products in the face kit.

In addition, we recommend deep cleansing 1-2 times a week with a facial mask. The clay face mask from Australian Bodycare leaves your skin soft, smooth, and renewed.

You can also chemically peel your skin with an exfoliating serum. Chemical peels are gentler on the skin compared to exfoliation using e.g., grains. If your skin tends to be more delicate or dry, a chemical peeling serum might be a good choice.

You can combine the daily use of Pre-aging Serum with other sera targeting other skin problems that you wish to care for. For example, you can use Blemish Serum for blemished skin and pimples, or you can use the Panthenol Serum to soothe redness and irritation.

You can use most sera with Pre-aging Serum, however, since the product contains Bakuchiol (natural alternative to Retinol), you should avoid using other products with vitamin A (Retinol) at the same time. The same applies if you use Peeling Serum a couple of times a week – avoid using Pre-aging Serum right after the Peeling Serum. Wait and use the Pre-aging Serum after your next cleanse instead.
