The popular hair loss spray, which forms a protective layer on hair strands during thinning and hair loss, can also be used as Heat Protection Spray.
If you suffer from hair loss, thinning or damaged hair, you shouldn't use heated hair tools too often. If you find it difficult to go without blow-drying and styling, please use the heat protection spray along the lengths of your hair to minimise damage.
The spray protects your hair from wear, breakage and dryness throughout the day and with light blow-drying.
How to use the heat protection spray
You can use the heat protecting spray on wet hair before you start blow-drying, and/or you can use it on dry hair to provide light hold and keep the hair strands protected throughout the day - e.g. against wind and weather.
Shake the bottle slightly before use and spray into wet or damp hair from a distance of approx. 20-30 cm. You can then dry your hair with a blow dryer. It is best to choose the lowest temperature on the hairdryer, as high temperatures can damage your hair. This is especially important if you are prone to hair loss, dry, damaged or otherwise damaged hair.
The hair loss spray can also be used on days when you don't blow-dry or wash your hair. You can use the spray on both wet and dry hair - with or without a hairdryer - as the spray also provides hold and adds body to the hair.
What is heat protection?
A Heat Protection Spray ensures that your hair is as protected as possible when exposed to high heat. This is especially true if you use straighteners and curling irons.
Blow-drying can also potentially expose your hair to high heat, so it's important to keep your hair strands protected before you start using the hairdryer.
With a good heat protection spray, you can minimise the risk of dry, porous hair and split ends. At the same time, the Heat Protection Spray also has the advantage that it can be used as a styling spray in the hair to add hold and volume to thin and fine hair.
So you get 2 products in one when you choose the Heat Protection Spray, which is the same product as the hairspray from the hair loss range.
It can be used to protect hair before light blow-drying, and you can also use it on dry hair for added hold and volume.
Why is it so important to protect your hair from heat?
The very high heat from styling appliances such as straighteners and curling irons can damage your hair. It dries out your hair, making it more porous and more prone to breakage. It also wears down your hair, which will often appear with split ends if you don't make sure to use heat protection.
If you suffer from hair loss, thin, fine or damaged hair, you should generally avoid using heaters. It's okay once in a while, but you shouldn't wear out your already vulnerable hair on a daily basis by exposing it to high temperatures and lots of styling products. This can lead to more hair loss and thinning.
What does Heat Protection Spray consist of?
The heat protection spray is based on Capilia Longa and Tea Tree Oil like the rest of the products in the hair loss range. These are beneficial ingredients if you suffer from dry, fine hair or if you experience hair loss and thinning.
However, the heat protection effect comes from the ingredient Flexan® ll polymer (Sodium Polysterene Sulfonate), which ensures that the hair shaft is protected from high temperatures. The spray therefore keeps the hair protected when you blow-dry it. Always remember to blow-dry at as low a temperature as possible to avoid unnecessary wear and tear on the hair.
In addition, the hairspray is enriched with Fixate (Amaranthus Caudatus Seed Extract), which ensures that the hair appears more voluminous and is easier to style.
Finally, Heat Protection Spray also contains an amino acid complex carefully formulated to ensure stronger and more resilient hair.
