Description

Do you get red spots and irritated skin after shaving? Do you have problems with ingrown hair? Do you want to minimize redness and itching?

Body Balm cares for your skin after shaving. The balm adds moisture and minimizes shaving rash, ingrown hair, itching and irritation.

Body Balm is especially suitable for:

- Reducing red spots, razor burns and irritation after hair removal

- Skin care after shaving legs or under arms

- Irritated, red, or itchy skin after shaving

How do I use Body Balm?

If you want to avoid red shaving spots, ingrown hairs, rash, redness, and itching after hair removal, it is important to prep the skin before shaving and nourish it afterwards.

1. Wash the skin completely clean with Body Wash

Wash your skin completely clean with Body Wash before shaving. Body Wash contains Tea Tree Oil, which effectively removes bacteria that can cause irritation after shaving and hair removal.

Apply the body soap to wet skin and massage it in. Pay special attention to the areas of the skin where you intend to remove hair. Rinse off.

2. Remove dead skin cells

To effectively avoid ingrown hairs and razor burns, you need to exfoliate before shaving. If you remove the dead skin cells with a good Body Scrub, you ensure a smoother and less irritating shave.

Massage the product into wet skin using circular motions. Rinse excess product off before beginning the hair removal.

3. Moisture and soothe the skin

After hair removal/shaving, you need to nourish and soothe the skin. After your shower, pat yourself dry with a towel and apply a suitable layer of Body Balm to the skin. You can use it all over the body, but the balm is especially recommended on the newly shaved area.

Body Balm acts as an aftershave lotion that cools and soothes, leaving the skin feeling fresh and healthy after hair removal. The balm should not be rinsed off.

Can I combine Body Balm with other products?

Body Balm can easily be combined with other Australian Bodycare products to ensure optimal care of the skin and to avoid ingrown hairs and red razor burns after hair removal.

For shaving, we recommend that you use a clear shaving gel so that the razor slides more easily over the skin and does not cause unnecessary irritation. You can use the Australian Bodycare Shave Gel on the entire body.

You can use Body Balm as an effective moisturizer on the whole body, but if you need extra moisture care, you can combine with Australian Bodycare Body Lotion.

What should I use to shave my beard?

If you are looking for good products to shave your beard, we recommend the clear shaving gel Shave Gel and After Shave. Shave Gel can be used for shaving on both face, legs, arms, etc., while After Shave is especially developed for the face and helps you avoid red spots, shaving rash, and ingrown hairs.

Which products should I use for intimate shaving?

You can use Body Balm in the intimate area, but to ensure the best result with shaving in the intimate zone, we recommend the complete kit with 3 products for intimate shaving.

The kit consists of Intim WashIntim Shave and Intim Balm and helps against razor burns and ingrown hairs in the intimate area.

Why is good skin care after hair removal important?

The skin can become quite sensitive after hair removal. Shaving can be tough on the skin, and you should therefore care for your skin after hair removal to keep it healthy and good-looking.

If you choose products with antiseptic ingredients, such as Tea Tree Oil, you can avoid the red spots and the sore ingrown hairs that often occur after shaving.

Products from Australian Bodycare contain 100% natural Australian Tea Tree Oil, which prevents bacteria from settling on the skin.

After hair removal, the skin often feels sore or becomes red and irritated and maybe even itchy. Therefore, Body Balm contains Tasmanian Pepperberry, which has a soothing effect on itching and redness.

Body Balm has a cooling effect and maintains the skin's health to prevent dryness and itching.

What if the product does not live up to my expectations?

We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. We will refund the full purchase price if you have not achieved the expected results with the product within 45 days of receipt.

The story of healing tea trees dates back thousands of years and it originates from the Aboriginal people of Australia. Their legends describe lakes surrounded by tea trees. Falling leaves and twigs from the tea trees leached their essential oils into the water and turned the lakes into antiseptic baths. The local Aborigines used these natural, healing spas to treat a number of conditions, such as skin infection, burns, cuts and insect bites. The healing benefits of tea trees were not officially registred until 1923. However, the local Aboriginal tribe, Bundjalung, had long understood the protective and healing powers of tea trees and used their crushed leaves to treat various wounds and skin infections. They named the land with tea trees “Healing Ground”.
