1) First wash skin thoroughly with body wash and rinse.

2) Apply Body Scrub to wet skin and massage in circular motions, allowing the scrub grains to gently remove dead skin cells. Be particularly thorough on skin areas with keratosis pilaris. When finished, rinse off excess product and scrub grains.

3) Finish in the bath, pat skin dry and always apply a protective layer of moisturiser when finished. Lubricate with body lotion several times a day for best effect.

What is keratosis pilaris?

Keratosis pilaris is quite harmless, but can be very bothersome cosmetically. Keratosis pilaris appears on the skin as small red and rough bumps and can occur anywhere on the body. However, keratosis pilaris is most commonly seen on the upper arms, thighs, face or back.

Many people mistakenly think they have pimples on their upper arms, but this is not the case. Keratosis pilaris occurs in the hair follicles. The condition is most common in young people, but in many it diminishes over the course of life. However, some are affected later in life and it is estimated that up to half of the population suffer from pimples on the arms in one way or another.

Why do you get keratosis pilaris?
