Acne is caused by an overproduction of skin oil (sebum) on the face and elsewhere on the body. The sebaceous glands become clogged and inflamed, resulting in pimples. It's perfectly normal to have acne, especially during puberty when hormones are raging, but unfortunately there is no real permanent cure.
However, there are several acne remedies you can try. The most commonly used acne products are benzoyl peroxide and azelaic acid. This can be enough in many cases. At the same time, you can use a good face wash and cream. It's important to keep your skin clean so bacteria don't have a chance to flourish. At the same time, it's important to moisturise the skin, as dry skin just leads to even more oil production - the exact opposite of what you're trying to achieve.
